Do you prescribe medication? Do you offer therapy?

As a psychiatrist, I am able to both prescribe medication and provide therapy. At our initial appointment, we will discuss what sort of treatment options may be helpful for you. I see some individuals for therapy, others for medication, and others for both medication and therapy. If you are already working with a therapist, I will work closely with them to make sure we provide the best care for you.

Do you offer in-person and virtual appointments?

Yes, I am able to offer both in-person appointments as well as virtual appointments to individuals located in the state of New York or New Jersey during the time of the appointment.

How long are your appointments? How often do we meet for appointments?

We will work together to come up with an individualized plan for how often and how long we meet. In general, our initial appointment is typically 60-90 minutes long. Follow-up appointments are typically 30-45 minutes long.

Do you accept insurance?

In my private practice, I am not in-network with any insurance plans, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for any out-of-network reimbursement you may be eligible for. Please contact your insurance company directly to verify your out-of-network benefits.
